June 16 is a very important date in South Africa's history. It marks the youth uprisings in Soweto in 1976. As many as 200, mostly children, were killed. We created an emotional campaign that commemorated the sacrifices of the youth and encouraged South Africans to wear their school ties as an act of remembrance.
